As every year, on the last Thursday of November, we had the honor and pleasure of celebrating Thanksgiving together—a special day filled with joy, reflection, and gratitude. This was not only an opportunity to celebrate but also to discover the cultural richness brought to our community by our diverse group of international teachers.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Director Marek Goerick for organizing this event and allowing us to participate in a traditional feast, featuring turkey and other classic dishes associated with this holiday. Thanks to his dedication, we were able to fully experience the spirit of an American Thanksgiving.
We are also grateful that our teaching staff includes native speakers from the United States, who eagerly share their traditions and stories, bringing us closer to American culture. This invaluable experience helps us better understand not only American customs but also appreciate cultural diversity from around the world.
Thanksgiving is an important day for us—a time to reflect on the past year and express gratitude for all our successes, challenges, and shared moments. We believe that these values—gratitude, community, and openness to different cultures—are the foundation of our school community.
A special thanks goes to Principal Anna Martowicz and Mr. Szymon Paczkowski for ensuring the celebration was carefully prepared and organized. We deeply appreciate the efforts of everyone who contributed to making this event so memorable.
