Cambridge International School

Regent College International Schools has been a Cambridge International School since 2019, becoming the 17th school in Poland to hold this title. As part of our international education programme, we implement the Cambridge International Education programme developed by the University of Cambridge.

At the primary school level, these are the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary programmes.  At the high school level we offer Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced international programmes, which provide students with the opportunity to take the A-level exam.

Compared to traditional teaching, Cambridge international programme offer:

  • teaching English through total immersion – all subjects are taught in English (as opposed to other bilingual programmes in which subjects are taught only partially in English)
  • exposure to authentic language and the ability to use the language (educational system known as Content and Language Integrated Learning, CLIL), which creates an excellent basis for using the acquired skills in the future (in passing the exams or taking up university studies with English as the language of instruction),
  • learning by using diverse materials and teaching methods, rich in group projects, games, experiences and observations,
  • developing logical and critical thinking using a young person’s natural curiosity – encouraging exploration and developing analytical thinking,
  • a database of teaching materials developed by the University of Cambridge team, taking into account the entire educational process and contact with international schools around the world,
  • an extensive system of training for teachers and educational tools that allow the teacher to engage the student in the educational process.
